Tired of melting away those plastic spur gears? This solved that. I was very impressed with the machine work on the piece, nicely done. It doesn't look like it has much to it, but when you hold it in your hand you can tell its a high strength steel part. I run a 3s lipo Slash set up for the street and so far this gear has held up to the speed runs I've made. All of the Hot Racing products I've purchased have been top quality parts.

Simply put this part is not compatible with stock traxxas stampede parts that it is required to connect to. You are likely to break more parts trying to install this. I lost a slipper clutch and the bearing that was wedged in it got destroyied trying to remove it.

It's great, I got this one to replace the spur in my daughter's vehicle. She's young, and isn't necessarily mechanically sympathetic to the drivetrain, but this helps, lasts quite a bit longer than the stock composite spur. I find it particularly helpful, because recently we've upgraded her car to brushless power as well. It isn't much louder to me when running. Also, the cutouts help to keep the weight down, so not much more rotational weight is added into the transmission (as well as the overall weight balance of the whole vehicle especially for the 2wd versions where most of the weight already sits over the rear). These are considerably more pricey than the stock composite gears, but to me are worth it, as we were going through gears quite a bit faster than I would like before.

This gear is the bee's knees. I have it installed and it puts out a lot of power and speed. It's a good combo with a 17t pinon gear. The clutch fits perfect and even the clutch eliminator fits.

Very nice product. Solid steel instead of plastic. Nice upgrade.
