They are soft and comfortable. I cant wear them with work boots because of their height and they wont stay up due to minimal stretchy materials. i wear them with tennisw shoe height shoes and they are comfortable with that style of shoe. The price is right.

I bought these socks because I thought they were a great value. WRONG!! Upon washing and drying them at the recommended wash and dry settings, they left tons of little fibers and what I call "furlies"(bits of cotton) in my dryer and all over the other dark clothes in my dryer. I gave them a second chance, I wore them and washed them again, with the same results. So my good deal socks have become a pile of you know what. I would never buy anything like these again. I guess from now on its buy American, like I should have done in first place. I'm $18.99 poorer. Shame on me.

When I first received these socks, they seemed okay. However, I slipped a few fingers into one about 2 inches beyond the opening to test-feel the thickness. That's when I realized the thick appearance was all fluff. They feel and wear okay. They are just ordinarily thin socks - not unlike common cotton socks, but without enough elasticity. After only one wash, strictly following the care instructions, I noticed a severe amount of lint was sticking to my feet. The same occured with the other two pair and continued after a subsequent wash. These socks disintegrate when washed! They won't last 10 washes. These are a rotten deal at any price.

I'm a sock snob or maybe anti-sockial? When I like a sock, it's special. I hate acrylic socks, and I can't stand anything that squeezes my feet. For that reason, I go barefoot most of the time. But I need socks to wear my hiking boots and that's where these come in. With a nearly 50/50 cotton wool blend, this is a phenomenal steal. They are not itchy in the least and they don't make my feet hot in 70 and 80 degree weather. I stay dry and comfortable. The inside reminds me of terry cloth towels. I will definitely be buying more! (BTW, I wear a women's size 9 or men's size 7 1/2)

These socks are serviceable, not great. Meaning they won't be chucked in the trash, but they could be better. My shoe since is 11E, on me these barely fit. They're also thin and not at all warm. I find them as warm as my cotton summer socks, hardly deserving the name "thermal". Ah well, they will do just fine to wear around the house in warmer months so they're not a total loss. I'm just disappointed as these socks aren't really deserving of the name thermal.
