Over Christmas several people asked me why I bought another gun after seeing the Colt BB gun.....it looks that authentic. I set it up easily, went out back and fired off a few shots and was pleasantly by surprised the guns operation. It had a report from the CO2 and a slight tactile kick, which made it that much more realistic. I found that this is no toy and should be restricted for use by children. I bought it to pop a couple of wild critters in the butt (raccoons and possums), but decided to give them a running start because of the power of the gun at close range. It is advertised as having 410 FPS velocity and does that easily. It's a great item and I'm happy with the purchase. It comes with 3 10 round cartridges that are very easy to load and replace in the pistol. The CO2 cartridge is simple to replace, just remember to put a drop of oil on the top to make a good seal and to use solid steel BBs to insure of no misfires. The colt python was a pretty good bb gun at first it really looked nice in hand i was really impressed at first but after a few shots the gun started to fail on me i really recommend being incredibly careful with this gun, it was a nice touch and felt great in hand it was easy to reload it had perfect handling and shoots really well i just wish it was a little more durable i would recommend it as a more lowere class handgun it got the job done for a few rounds afterwards it was just un usable i still tho like the way it felt and the way it shot it had a really clean sound to it and impressed me at first i might have gotten a defective one but still give this a 2 star for the incident that happened id love to give it a 5 star but with the issues i had i just cant bare to pass 2 stars still love the gun and looks nice having it on display.Read full review

This Umarex .357 Python is beautiful. It is constructed of polymer but feels like steel. It has some real heft and weight to it. Nicely proportioned, has proper markings. Haven't shot any BB s and intend to just display it in my showcase. Love it! For the price, you can't go wrong and won't be disappointed!

What can I say....it is 5 star plus. Unbelievably simple and fun. True to life specs. except it don't weigh a whole lot. Excellent workmanship. BB's hit harder than pellets. Similar guns shoot both bb and pellet. So usually the bore size is a compromise and the bb is not accurate thru a rifled barrel and will damage a rifled barrel over time. This has the proper sized barrel for max. overall efficiency for the bb. You cannot go wrong with this gun.
