LizardSkin 22032 Sound Control, Advanced Water-based Composition of a High-grade Acrylic, Spray-on, Black, 2 gallon, Each. Please Click on the "Read More" link for additional details about this item. Thank you, Summit Racing Equipment. The World's Speed Shop Since 1968.
Used it first on front fenders & inner fenders. They are for 1950 chevy pickup. I had primed fenders with epoxy primer. As per manufacturer, I scuffed surface with red scotch pad. Material was easy to spray, but spatters some. On first inner fenders I only taped the edges and some spatter got on outer surface. After it dried, I could only get it off with 220 grit sand paper which exposed bare metal so I had to reprime fender. Next ones I covered outer surface with paper. Convinced me that Lizard Skin will probably stick for the long hall. It took a little over 2 gallons to do the 4 pieces, which have quite a bit if area.
This some very good noise control and sealer very easy to work with hell it cleans up with water and very hard to remove put a DA sander on it with 80 grit and would not move try it great
