It resolved my problem, mainly saved me from buying another alternator.
I had a leak from the old one which damaged my alternator. I replaced it with aftermarket valve that I bought from Advance Auto. I checked it the next day, it was leaking probably a little less if not as much. A friend recommended me to get OEM part.
