Top of the line from back in time

Why did they change it?
This is the best model of the handy chopper. My wife has used a bunch of them. Even the later versions made by Zyliss are not as good as this model. Past Pampered Chef Consultant's Favorite Item
I use to sell Pampered Chef and this older model is one of my all-time favorite items. Great for adults and safe for kids. Dishwasher safe and chops everything --chicken breasts, onions, nuts etc. Although Pampered Chef made a new model - I didn't find it improved. They did add a soft cushion on top, but the blade isn't as deep so it didn't work as well on thicker items - like chicken breasts. I keep using this older one and my now grown-up kids want it too.
