The KONG Dog Flyer is the correct size (7" diameter) for a dog that weighs 30-40lbs. The rubber is fairly durable, but if your dog chomps the frisbee when catching it or likes to chew on it you will be buying another before long. If you have a chewer or a puppy that's teething put the frisbee where the dog can't access it. I like the fact that it's flexible but not so floppy that it doesn't fly well when it's windy. The only thing I'd recommend to improve the product would be to make it out of a more durable high quality neoprene like Viton A but that would likely boost the price significantly. Overall a good product that my dog really likes to play catch with.

We have an active Sheltie. The smaller Kong Flyer is a good size for her. She likes to destroy things. This has held-up quite well. Additionally, the softer' flexible material is gentler than the stiffer flyers we've found elsewhere. It "flies" but not quite as far as the stiff flyers (i.e. fliers which are more like a Frisbee). I'll buy it again when this comes to the end of its useful life..

We have a German Shephard. The small size stays aloft longer and goes further than the large size and it is holding up just as well. When not in use I leave it in a small bucket filled with water and this has kept it looking like new. Our dog loves it!

Not that it matters, but it's too small for my dogs.

well made for a small medium dog the rubber last for a while, however I think the price is very high for a Frisbee, it's not like a tournament Frisbee or something. Dog loves it and on occasions likes to play tug of war with it.
