Definition of classic
Role-playing, exploration, first-person combat, survival, levelling, trading, and crafting, in a post-apocalyptic wasteland based on a retro 1950s future that never was. A stunning experience. This game may be eight years old, but its inclusion in Xbox One's backwards compatibility list makes it accessible to the current generation of console users. Admittedly the graphics are what you'd expect in an eight-year-old game, but the ideas, story and gameplay remain standouts and the sandbox gameplay and additional DLC included in this (GOTY) version make for many, many, many hours of satisfying exploration. Play this before you play Fallout 4; your experience will be enhanced. So much value for money I can't even.
