Swan decoy
We purchased this decoy to go the with one we had purchased last year, to keep the geese away. It's nice & large, and reasonably priced. We've heard that if you have a pair of swan decoys, it deters the geese even more than just having one decoy, so thought we'd give it a try. We did paint the tip of the tail black, as swans are totally white. Also, we used epoxy to fasten down the head & neck at the joints, as they seem to want to come apart when it's very windy. For the most part, the decoy doesn't blow over, unless the winds are ridiculous. We fasten it to shore with a long line, so that it can "swim" around a bit.
