It was the right replacement part for my engine. Problem being the part has special inserts that need to be torqued to a certain spec. When the part was cleaned,probably in a hot tank the insert threads were damaged making them bind.

Hello, If you desire to build power with a Ford OHV 4.0l, then using an 01+ Ford SOHC oil pan is a prudent move. This is a great price on an authentic 01+ OHV Ford 4.0l upper oil pan. Tapping and treading for the oil kevel sensor is a breeze.

I refurbished the upper inter bolt they look perfectly new and was in good condition but unfortunately the outter bolts were to rusted and the bushings was to far gone
