Seems tough and durable, fits my speaker cabinet perfectly, looks super cool
I bought this cover to protect my Ampeg PF-115HE bass cabinet. It fits like a glove and does an excellent job of protecting the cabinet. One thing, though - I wish there was some kind of strap to secure the bottom of the cover to the bottom of the speaker cabinet. That would help prevent the cover from partially coming off the cabinet while I'm loading in or out of the back of my SUV.

Ampeg Portaflex Cover
If you plan on gigging with your Portaflex cabinets, you need to seriously consider a cover for your cab because although the Tolex cover on the cab is very attractive in a retro sort of way and will protect it to a point, the covering scuffs easily and will look like crap if you don't protect it. The Ampeg cover is tough, fits well, and is padded to help protect your investment. An aftermarket cover is going to cost as much or more and might not be as nice. Do yourself a favor and get the real deal Ampeg cover for your Portaflex cabinets.
