This is an original NOS Ford clutch release arm pivot or fulcrum which is correct for all 1965 1966 1967 Mustang V8 cars with manual transmission and all 1968 Mustang V8 cars with manual transmission built before 8/17/1967. This is riveted to the bell housing to provide a mount for the clutch release arm. This one comes with one original rivet. Most folks simple use a high grade tapered head machine screw (available at most any hardware store) to mount this bracket when replacing it. These bracket do break occasionally and when one breaks, you have no clutch. The metal in the repros is not as high of a quality as this original so do not take a chance to be left by the side of the road with no warning by using a cheap import repro.
