My favorite potentiometers
My grandfather worked for Bourns doing dedign work for high reliability components. These are the best build quality of all guitar potentiometers. Most likely that I'll exclusively use these for as long as they are offering them.

Bournes Pots are GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!
long time amp / guitar repair shop owner. i have installed hundreds of pots. normally i use my default reliable brand CTS. this time i decided to break the rules and try out these Bournes pots. Immediately after installing these I noticed a TON of play inside the shaft. They spin waaaaaaay too fast and freely. Some people will call this "smooth" but i call it LOOSE garbage. the machining is NOT accurate nor precise. Dont WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Go with the best and buy CTS!!!!! btw alpha are junk too. That being said, time to remove these brand new Bournes Long Shaft pots and throw them in the trash just after i SMASH them with my sledgehammer.
