Seems perfect - not being pushed

I got this to replace a SONY 5 disk DVD 5.1 system that had a channel fail. It does the job perfectly. Of course, I had to label the speaker wires and use the binding posts. Have not pushed the volume, but nothing seems bothersome at all. Big, compared with the sleek Sony box, but much more power and capability.

    Get what you pay for

I am pretty sure this is rated for typical home entertainment system inexpensive boom box type speaker. This will not push even low watt external subwoofer (300)watt max don’t be fooled but on a positive note it is a great in expensive replacement amp for small surround sound home unit.

Receiver is ok but fan stays on and is noisy it does not go off if turn off by remote have to totally turn off by power button very bad design could maybe in future as receiver gets older could catch fire maybe due to this also a Constance power drain that is not really needed. Wish there was a fix from Pyle on this fan issue not cool. Update just stop working turn unit on states welcome and that’s it no sound no nothing lasted about 2 years and very little playing at that unit maybe had 5 hrs total play time about ,waste of money fuse is not even burnt

  • Blue tooth worked but not Surround sound...

Blue tooth worked but not Surround sound .. swapped it out with a different amp and it worked just fine so I don’t know i’ll go ahead and keep it and use it for a different application but the name Pyle speaks for itself

  • Sounds Good but more like 100 Watts of power

This is a good sounding receiver and easy to use. I love that it has the built in Bluetooth feature. The sound of the Fan is quiet unlike other reviews I've read. Others must have the volume turned way down or they're watching a silent movie? Mine is in a Garage with Music being played through it. I have not used and will not use the karaoke inputs. So I can't comment on this. Only Con is, the 420 Watts is overrated. This is no louder than the 1994 RCA 120 Watt receiver that I replaced this with.

  • Great Value & Decent Quality

Replaced our prior system that went out on us with this for our theater room. It was really easy to set up and the sound quality is decent.

  • I like it, I replace my old Audio receiver, because this new one have HDMI port.

I use at my computer room. HDMI for my 2 computers can input to HDMI port, just touch HDMI bottom to switch source. Normally, it drive my Bose Speakers. Bluetooth can pair to my Bone Conduct Earphone. at night.

  • Don't waste your money

This unit has pros and cons...pro is it was cheap, that's it. Cons are 2 rear speakers have never fired, no optical input for sound, you have to manually press the on/off button to shut the unit off, controls are not intuitive, you get better sounds plugging hdmi into the tv and sound is thin. Mediocre at best

  • perfectly good deal for the money

needed a cheap home theater and this does the job just fine. i see other reviews that complain about fan noise or weak blue tooth.... my fan is fine and blue tooth is good to 30 feet easy. the display is so dim you can't read it but i can live with that for a hundred bucks or whatever this thing cost. perfectly good deal. i have a hi end yamaha for the other room and this thing is just as good as that.

  • Worth the money

I was expecting an equipment that was worn and used, instead it was in its original box and it was brand new. It was worth the money I invested.
