From the ad I expected the printhead to be brand new in original packaging. This is most likely a refurbished printhead. It was not in the original packaging and lacked instructions and the small wiping cloths that comes with new printheads. It took about 2 weeks for it to finally function correctly. Now it does work fine, but since it took so long to work, I almost bought a new printer. As it is refurbished, it should have cost less. I am satisfied that it does work well now.
