Honda ATV Angle Sensor for a Hondamatic Rubicon
This is a very well made, high quality part. When the original failed you will see flashing D1, D2 and ESP on the instrument panel. You will see how to read the flash code (5 flashes for this problem) in your " ATV Repair Manual" not your small hand book that comes with the ATV. The ATV will still drive going forward but trying to back up, it acts like the ignition is cutting out. A word of caution: when installing this part it has to be preloaded. To do this put the part in facing the opposite direction that it normally is, then carefully rotate it a 1/2 turn clockwise until the bolt holes line up. Once installed you may have to program it. A much needed part that has worked so far so good.
The d1,d2,esp was flashing on a 2005 honda rubicon 500, as well would shut off intermittently especially any hill. So YES this part worked.
