Problem with functionality.
The compass appears to be well made of quality materials. It worked fine, until attempting to install in my vehicle, which is a 02 Jeep Wrangler. The only place where the compass functioned as expected was in the middle of the windshield which would have compromised visibility. No adjusting as directed would let it perform elsewhere in the vehicle. The compass may work in vehicles with less electrical interference, but not in a modern, smaller vehicle. It was really sad, because I liked the looks, construction, and size and hoped that it would be an addition to the Jeep.

Good compass for small boats
The Ritchie Sport Compass is a good compass for small boats, easy to install and of good quality. It has internal lighting for night time use, and is liquid damped for smooth operation. Overall a nice made in USA compass!
