It's stiff enough to keep the fuel door tightly shut. Spring is of good quality. It was difficult to install but I figured out a way after a few tries and it easily hooked on. The fuel door needs to be removed for easy installation. It's only held by two small bolts. Just remember how the old spring is installed before removing it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
