I bought these to install on some used Aristocraft track for a new loop of my garden railroad. They slid on easily, but the screw holes didn't quite line up with the screw holes on the Aristo track. I dug out an awl and used it to ream them out a little and they were just fine. Screw-on connectors will work on track that doesn't have screw holes tapped, but the best case is on track that HAS screw holes. Then they make a far better physical and electrical connection.

The rail joiners are a compatible fit with the various different G Scale Manufacturers curved and straight track sections. Using the separately purchased Bachman Joiner Screws the track sections remain locked in place and keep the track sections from separating with train use.
