Too long on the shelf!
Battery seems a perfect fit, but does not retain a charge, even overnight, when the laptop is off and charger unplugged. When "fully charged," the laptop will operate for less than an hour in power saving mode. Enclosed paperwork indicates the battery was originally acquired in December of 2007.
