I entered the PW pressed the update software and it immediately went to its web site, downloaded and installed the update. Comment: not all cars will provide their VIN electronically, including my Honda Odyssey, so I had to enter the details manually. This scanner is very sophisticated. I’m slowly learning how to run it. I called techs and they were very helpful. Tool does abs totally plus much much more. You’ll need to be by wi fi or very strong internet reception to update the scanner before you start.Then it will automatically scan your car when you plug it in the port of your auto.
