great tires with safety features
These tires roll better than my other ones. I can ride up hills in a higher gear than with the others. I ride a lot in the dark so the added reflective white wall stripes add extra visibility on the road from the side. Any added safety without adding weight is worth the price. Smooth easy ride. I love that these tires have a reflective strip all the way around the tire. Depending on your light set up you can actually activate the strip with your own lights. The grip on these is very good. Narrower Than Most but Fast, Durable, Versatile and Street Wise
This is a great rolling tire, versatile with a nice ride on a variety of surfaces. A great balance of speed and versatility. These are very functional with the reflector sidewall. Not the best looking unless you are into that 1980 Buick sedan narrow whitewall theme but I want safety and no other reflectors are this visible at night. These are narrower than most so don't be afraid to up-size. I chose the 700x35 because I was concerned with clearance on my older CX frame. 700x38 would have left me with plenty of room to spare and would probably be better for gravel roads while still performing on pavement. These shine in all weather conditions except for loose snow but I have Michelin Mud 2 for those conditions. I expect these will wear very well with excellent flat protection as the set of 700x32 that I had previously.
