It might work with any brands of your old model televisions have HDMI plugin. It won't stream the 4Ks to your old model tv because the tv is not compatible but trust me, the picture images and the sound qualities will be a lot better then you experienced before even your tv does not equip with the new sound Atmos. This device has a quart-cored processor chip to take care of everything of your verbal orders(remote control)and streaming without any delays. It even more faster then my old i5 computer. Another hand down on the Roku Ultra is its super convenient remote control has everything of the standard models which plus add on recharge,headphones,lost&found and what I love the most is a push to talk/order button. This is a super,super convenient and positive feedback for the new user like me without the need of reading the manual booklet how to use the device with too many functions instead I just push the micro phone button on the remote to bring me to where and what I want to. Even though with all the positive on this product,the price is quite a little bit high on this model. But if any users on tight budgets may find the smaller Roku 4K Express Plus cost 1/4 of this model and it's streaming-sound-plus a super fast respond are the same of this model but it do not have the Dolby sound At mos. Easy to set up, just follow the instructions. One minor set back, my Apple TV stopped working, toke me a little time but got it and running again! The voice remote is easy to use, always forget about it, it works great. I have an accent but it still works with it, with no problem. So far really nothing bad about it. Love it, I have no cable or satellite but you really do not need too. That is it for now. Like I said it works great and easy to set up!
