Many of the songs reflect the extreme radical view of the 60's, when it was popular to "blame the soldier" there was talk of "revolution." However, Phil Ochs timeless wit & passion live on. "Love Me, I'm A Liberal" is still hillarious as are many of Ochs introductions to the tunes he sang. The title track, "There But For Fortuen" is still relevant and lovely. Then one of my very favorite songs is the beautiful and timeless "When I'm Gone." I highly recommend this CD for anyone who has a heart.
