I bought Beatles One DVD for my own entertainment, but ended up using it in my Music classrooms a lot. Starts well but ends claustrophobically
Four out of the first five tracks, and Yesterday, are live gig footage, then the DVD moves to the promotional videos of the late 60's, made for each song. The odd Lady Madonna video, cut from footage of the band recording the B-side of the same single, follows, and then things get a bit sketchy with visuals that are rather throw-together and not in the same league of iconic fame as the songs themselves. The final two tracks, Let It Be and The Long And Winding Road, are from the Let It BE movie - live recordings rather than the Phil Spector-productions on the album. As a result, we end the DVD trapped in the basement of 3 Savile Row with the exhausted band. A bit strange but overall a very worthwhile and entertaining DVD.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
