Soothes and tones.
This was purchased primarily as a means of neutralizing my acid reflux. I've needed surgery for some time - so nothing works in the entirety. However, this does a good job of coating the mouth and throat without making things cloudy or sticky; and the coating stays in place for a considerable period of time. Protects teeth.
