Removed wall paper from an unpainted wall . Top layer of sheetrock came with it . Sanded off the loose stuff and applied gardz . Skim coated with thinned sheetrock mud and walls came out looking really good . This stuff seals in the fuzzy texture left after removing the wallpaper and dries to a sort of hard finish . Really easy to work with

Seals drywall joint compound like nobody's business
I have been skimcoating popcorn ceilings and textured walls in several rooms of my house. I have given each room a Gardz sandwich. Roll it onto the surface first to act as a base for the joint compound and then once the layers are applied and sanded smooth I rolled it on again to seal the walls and ceilings. Works great.
