Best value 3 head razor
Exceptional razor at this price! Wish it were offered for a couple dollars more with a cleaning brush and carry bag for travel. I paid more than double this price for a 3 head Norelco a couple decades ago. Performance on this one is just as good as that was. Battery life will probably be the determiner of value over time, as Norelco 3 floating head designs have been around for decades.

Good shave, poor battery life
I have had Norelco triple headed shavers for 40 years and they have been very durable and give a good shave. This shaver gives a good shave but the battery is only good for 3 to 4 shaves, about 16 minutes total run time. This is half of the amount of time advertised on the box and since this is brand new I am concerned it will quickly degrade from there. I figured I would use with the cord attached when the battery eventually wore down but the cord is small and stiff and I don't think it will last long using it that way.

Fills a niche
I knew what to expect when I bought this shaver, because this is the third Norelco I've owned. I still have one 4 years older. What's changed? Pretty much just the outside cosmetics. This newer one shaves about the same way the older one does. Bottom line: It WILL give you a quick, relatively comfortable, so-so close shave. It WILL NOT give you the kind of close shave a blade or a foil shaver will. If you decide to buy, here's a tip: The instructions are to "rinse in hot water." But that doesn't really clean the oils off the cutter blades. A good way to do it is to remove the blades (and their retainer) and soak them in hydrogen peroxide for about five minutes. Presto! Job done. Do it once a month. One other thing: My old one gives a little more warning that the battery is low. Both have "low battery" warning lights... but this new one simply "conks out", like RIGHT NOW!

Adequate as a low to mid-range shaver.
Does the job well. Will only do one-and-one half shaves on a charge. Disappointing. It does, however, continue to work as any corded shaver would. I like the pop-up trimmer feature.

Lightweight with basic features
It is very light duty and the only question now, after just having purchased the item is whether it will remaiin operable for a decent length of time. This is one of Philips Norelco's much less expensive models and for my needs seems to be adequate, light beard and finer hair.

Good value, product works well.
I needed a new shaver, as my existing one was no longer functional. I have used Norelco products for the last 20+ years so was interested in another one. This one works as expected, and was delivered in a timely manner. I would purchase the same again - if the need should arise. It was a good value.

Would not buy for a close shave.
I bought this to replace a Remington shaver that I had It sounds like it is barely running but it does remove stubble. What it does not do well is give a close shave. Since I am retired that is not a big deal as I am not striving for the perfect shave to be presentable...ha ha. Also the battery life does not seem that long before it starts to seem weak. I bought this for less than a replacement foil and cutter block for my Remington so I guess you get what you pay for. The instructions say to use it for 3 weeks to get the closest shave. I am on week 2 and am still waiting for a close shave. Also the trimmer does not work that well.

Excellent Electric Razor
First, it matches all of the advertised characteristics. In addition, it operates very quietly. it is by far the quietest electric razor I have ever owned. It is very light weight. It removes my beard and leaves a very smooth face.

Works well
I had an electric shaver 40 years ago and switched to a blade. I bought this for getting the (now) harder to reach places and it does the job. Nothing can replace a blade but this is especially good for between shaves. I was surprised at the quality and value for the price.
