Good for small operation
Overall, I am satisfied with this incubator. The auto egg turner appears to work well and it holds 8 duck eggs very well. The candling LED is effective with white eggs but not very effective with brown eggs. It seems to do an OK job keeping temperature but I think my unit is running a little cold. Seven of the eight eggs I put in are doing well, one egg is questionable. The hot air that comes out of the fan seems to run about 102 - 105 degrees F. Left side of incubator (where fan discharges) is always warmer than right side. Humidity seems to be hard to control. Its either over 60 or below 40 depending on how much water is in base. I have two more weeks till I expect my first batch of ducklings, my opinion might change after that event.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Egg incubator
Bottom compartment that has tunnels for holding water is warped and does not hold water as precribed by instructions. The top electrical portion works great. The shipper ask for pictures, but it isn't arped bad enough to show in photos.

works great no hydrometer but otherwise a-ok
after re calibrating the temp with an external thermometer and hydrometer so i can monitor the humidity, the incubator holds heat well and returns to temp soon after i open it to candle. great starter machine for the price as long as you have a way to monitor the humidity the turner works but i took it out to fit more eggs. would recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Simple Little Incubator That Works!
This is a wonderful little incubator. It's important to buy an incubator with an automatic turner, and this one has it. There are no bells and whistles, like a thermometer or humidity gauge or temp adjustment, so you'll need an external hygrometer to know if temp and humidity is correct. We had trouble getting more than 10 chicken eggs in it. The first time we used it, we put in 8 eggs. 3 were not fertilized, but the other 5 all hatched! Our more expensive incubators never have that high of a hatch rate. This is the third one we purchased. Great value!

No bad
I was able to hatch out 3 out of 7 eggs. I wish it would display humidity but I bought a small digital thermometer with humidity and placed inside incubator. I do not like that it is difficult to see in the incubator without opening it.
