Installing is fairly easy. I went further and mounted outside antenna on pole and hide coaxial cable back inside the house. My area is low and remote. Nearest tower is 10 miles away. Went from 3g with maybe 1 bar 25% of the time or 75% no service at all to consistently 4g with 3/4 bars where service inside the house was always the worst. Reception throughout my 2 story house has improved the same, can even use phone in the basement now. I would recommend this unit. Spendy but if you only use cell phone for calls and internet its great.

I live in a dead zone pretty much. I had very little faith this would work, mainly because I have tried one in the past in a different location and it didn't work. This time I got a stronger one. I found if I placed it right outside the upstairs window, there was 107 dBm signal strength; almost nothing. It was the best location I could find and with that poor of signal strength I was sure I just wasted my money....BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE! After setup, I now get 2-3 bars in the main areas of the house and 1-2 bars in my bedroom. It works great!

I installed this at my in laws. They were only getting 0-1 bar signal in their house. I installed this booster and they now have 5 full bars. I did need to locate the nearest cell tower to aim the antenna to. In my instance it did make a big difference by moving it 6 feet west from where we were going to put it (lots of trees). I used a TV antenna tripod and mast we had on hand to mount it to. Worked great!

I have 4 of these in 4 different places. Great booster. If I had known how good they are I would have switched years ago. At my own house I would generally have a couple bars with my old booster - with this I have service in the entire house with 5 bars in 2/3 of the house. (I've been using boosters for at least a decade. I had to change 5 out due to 5G and everyone dropping 3g.)

I live at the top of a small mountain in Maine. The nearest tower for my need (Sprint for hotspotting) is over 15 miles away. We had an intermittent signal before this and with it, we have clear TV streaming with 29-32 megabits/sec download and 11-12 mb/sec upload speeds. Expensive, but worth it. We cannot get cable or DSL in our rural location.
