Good for the price
I needed a printer/scanner/copier, and I read good reviews about this unit. When I found it for $75 (refurbished) I couldn't resist buying it. It was easy to set up and sync with my laptop. It prints, scans, and copies nicely however I have not needed to use the unit's fax function. Overall, I would say this is a pretty good buy. Total Disappointment
I am happy I received this printer before christmas. But unfortunately that is the only good thing I can say about it. The box had no plain brown rapper, so not only could my neighbors see the package so could the reciptiant. There was no instalalaton software aND the directions contained stains. This turned out not to be a suitable gift. Decent machine for the money
I have only had this machine a few days. So far its been awesome printing from my cell phone has been pretty easy. the copy and fax are just an added bonus to me. Just got it
We bought this because our inkjet printers kept breaking down for the infrequent use. We sacrificed color (not printing photos) for lower maintenance of a laser printer with dry toner, remaining in the same price range. If this turns out not to be true, I will post a follow up. The set up was easy. The start up was readable just by the images of removing the safe transport plastic and foam. The CD for loading the driver set up the wifi connection quickly. Very nice printer combo machine
This printer/fax/scanner machine is a very nice office tool and well worth the price. The print quality is clear and sharp, and the print time is fairly fast. For scanning, it won't scan to an email, but it does scan to a pdf file on your computer which you can then attach to an email. I haven't figured out yet how to turn off the ringer to keep it from ringing when the phone rings, but I'm still learning all of its features. So far, so good!
I've always had good luck with HP printers but the all-in-ones constantly need replacing ink cartridges, even when I don't use the for long periods. I then asked, do I really need a color printer? No, I don't and many monochrome printers have much larger cartridges. I tried the Samsung because I like the fax and scan features and best of all, no ink cartridge replacement yet! Great small office item.
This product took less than 5 min to set up for printing and scanning. Printer can print through the wifi, which means I can hit print down stairs and it prints up stairs in the office. The only issue is that the paper does not have a separate internal tray.
