    Fun but comes with issues

I wanted to give this a 5 star. It’s really fun and has a ton of potential but there are some important issues holding this back: 1) the delay from the receiver to the car is noticeable and frustrating 2) on 3s, I cannot gun the throttle more than a couple times without the esc forcing lvc. This is not a battery issue. Does not happen on 2s. From what I’ve read this is a common issue. 3) the motor mount has locations only for specific pinion gear sizes. I’d like to use a 17 but it’s either a 15 or 20 Otherwise it is durable and quick and a lot of fun for me and the dog

You'll have to get the tactic radio and transmitter system for this to run properly. It loses signal, cuts out. It's hard if you're on a budget.

I have congestive heart failure and many other issues so RC cars are my only escape without damaging my heart. That being said, this is my first arrma. I come from redcat and have always been satisfied with the product. This one isn't rtr. You'll need to buy a lot of parts to get this rig where it needs to be. I figured I'd be good to go out of the box with a brand new arrma. I should have done my research better because all the arrma guys I have spoken to say I need rpm arms, electronics and drive line components. It looks and feels so good, but it's just not ready to run and I don't have the funds to make it do so. Really disappointed

  • Easily set up.

Ordered this buggy before I did research, I ordered the wrong batteries initially. Ensure you purchase batteries with IC5/EC5 connectors. Not really thinking about it I ordered batteries that had the deans connector. Ended up purchasing adapters to use said batteries. Other than my mistakes which in no way should impact the vehicle this thing is the bees knees.

  • Good bang for the bucks

A great basher built pretty tough. Unlike the raider if you hit a blade of grass at 50 mph. It would self distruct. Better plastic. Great design.

  • Love it!!!

I've waited for 2 months for the typhon to come off of back order. Definitely worth the wait. It's fast and durable.

  • Things a blast

Really well built, but don’t run it into a truck tire at 50 mph. Another words, don’t drink and drive it
