    High quality!

First off, very nice magazine! I have had cracking issues with every magazine I have tried in my gun, from the factory RIA 7 round to the 10 round ProMags and several in between. All my magazines to date have cracked at the top, towards the back of where the cartridge sits. They show signs of cracking and when they no longer drop straight out they get thrown in the trash. I had my gun try to cycle the magazine spring when the RIA magazine decided to completely fail and send the whole spring and follower up along with the final round, was not fun clearing that! These magazines however show far superior construction at first glance. Not only are they overall about half an inch shorter (spelled concealable) than the 10 round pro mags I have had, they are easily 2.5x thicker width at the portion I have consistent cracking issues with. I'm well aware magazines are a consumable item, but new ones every 3 months (I'm very rough with them and the are always fully loaded) is a bit crazy. Hopefully these will last as long as they look like they will. On a side note these being overall thicker in every way leads me to believe repairing/welding future cracks wont be too hard! Photo shows old mag (black) vs the CMC mag at the spot that cracks.

    Feed issues.

I have a Rock Island FS n I had feed issues with it badly. I have no idea if there's any fix to it. Maybe it just doesn't like my gun. My original 8 n Remington 8 work flawlessly so not sure what the issue with the chip mag was caused by. I wanted to like it being 10 rounds but it just doesn't feed well with my gun.

  • don't go cheap

one of the best mags out there for 1911 style firearms. feeds reliable so you wont have a problem with your gun jamming while using these.

  • Excellent 1911 magazines

These are my favorite 1911 magazines! I previously owned 3 years of these and wanted to get 2 more. This price was just better than what you’ll get in a store. The stainless steel feeds easily and drops freely. These will also fit any standard single stacked 1911.

  • Chip McCormick mags are the Alpha

If you have a 1911 CMC mags should be a standard in every collection! Besides Wilson Combat these are the best competitive magazines on the market . Take it from someone who has shot competitive, and tactically these are the mags you want in you rig and on your belt when it matters! Personally nothing is better than knowing I have 10 rounds of .45 ACP at the ready to let those Freedom Seeds fly , or to defend anyone at a moments notice.

  • Worth Every Penny

Hasn’t given me a problem yet. I loaded several rounds of 45 acp Hollows and FMJ from different brands. It has performed well.

  • Works as you would want it to.

Very well made, nice solid 10 rd magazine. The only problem I have is that I can’t use it with my Springfield 1911 with the Wilson Combat Magazine well. However, it works great with my Kimber Classic II, 1911. The problem exist in the cut of the base plate, it could be trimmed and it should fit with the added magazine well .

  • The best .45 magazine available

I have been using Chip McCormick mags for many years, they have never failed me, so I purchased a couple more. Shipping was very slow ( 15 days ) USPS lost the package, we are all painfully aware how bad they have become. DOC

  • Great magazines

Was looking on internet to purchase 1911 magazines for my newly acquired 1911 Romin 45ACP. Came across a video where Bill Wilson if Wilson Combat rated the Wilson Combat and Chip McCormic mags as equals. I purchased McCormack mags and Wilson Mags took to range and ran 250 rounds through my 1911 45acp flawless. If the competitor rates them high that's good enough for me.

  • Excellent 10 round 45acp SS mag

These high quality but more expensive SS 45acp mags feed flawlessly and will last a lifetime with light lubrication. They provide 10 rounds and have a base bumper which makes for fast reloads.
