Good, but it does dry out your hair. You need to condition it as well
Good product . Does get the yellow out. But just if your hair has been bleached. Not if your are using a regular lighting color . Does not get the yellow out of that. You do need to condition it after, cause it does dry it out. Stronger than the other products that I’ve tried . You need gloves. It’s like a regular blue color for clothes on your hair. It does wash out after shampooing. Anyways a blonde color need a lot of carying. This is one of them on the list. I would buy it again tho.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didn’t lighten my hair one shade! Did nothing at all, PERIOD!
I was so excited to receive this in the mail yesterday. I divided my hair into one small section, as a test piece. Underneath the left side of my head, at the nape of my neck. So if things went badly it would b3 somewhat hidden. I dampened that small section, applied the purple, almost black, shampoo and brought it to a lather. I left it one for two minutes. Rinsed well and dried. It did absolutely nothing, nothing at all. Ok, so I thought I’d try it for two minutes. I got the exact same outcome! I repeated this process , NOTHING! I then tried it on dry hair, NOTHING! I tried many was, many amounts of time, NOTHING! I finally was so frustrated I left it on for ONE HOUR! I was so up~set at that point I didn’t care if my hair fell out! Even after ONE FULL HOUR, NOTHING! Maybe one slight, very slight shade. I finally had had enough. I worked on that one small section of my hair the entire time. It didn’t damage my hair, as far as I could tell but it didn’t work, period! So, if you purchase this product I recommend buying the smallest amount you can find and trying it before you dive right in and buy the largest amount. For me, not saying for you, but for me IT DIDN’T WORK AT ALL, NOTHING, NIL, NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE SHADE IF LIGHTER COLOR....HUGELY DISAPPOINTING.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

worth it! not what I expected
I was a bit weary of the price tag, but my stylist rec'd it to keep my blonde hair toned icey blonde and to keep the yellow away even though she doesn't sell it, so I thought it was worth a try. It looks more like ink than shampoo and it will stain your hands a little if you don't wash them, so be careful of that, but WOW. This stuff really works. I'm very bad at doing hair and using hair products and I only wash my hair myself a few times a month so I'm really no expert at application but wow did this evenly tone my hair to a silvery white blonde. I love this! I only use a small amount and I mix it with same amount of regular shampoo leave in for 2 minutes then rinse out. I have really long platinum blond hair but if I don't dilute it or leave it on longer than 2 minutes I get a light lavender color which I have to get out with lemon juice and dawn dish soap. This shampoo does the trick. My hair just loves to grab brassy color and it has always been the absolute bane of my existence. Until now. It worked the first time although I only left it on for two minutes (directions say to leave it on between 1 and 5 minutes). Not perfect results the first time but still ah-mazing. I left the shampoo on for 5 minutes the second time and that was my sweet spot (your sweet spot may be different, experiment!). Gorgeous brass free locks. People actually asked me if I had just had my hair coloured because it looked so bright. I will keep buying this because, quite simply, it works and is not expensive. Just tried this after recieving on my porous hair & extremely pleased all the way around with Fanola Shampoo & also the Mask/Conditioner. Unless your hair is white, DONT be afraid to leave on for 3-5 minutes. Product will discolor your hands more so than Oligio and Punky Color depositing violet shampoos. Extremely pleased with the gardenia scent,which lingers after washing out! I followed this up with Roux color tinted mousse in spun sand, or you could add same product in white minx if you like more silver tones,...the Fanola shampoo did not produce a good,cleansing lather so I added a bit of pantene for cleansing purposes, but you could choose to wash your hair first with regular shampoo then do a 2nd wash with FANOLA. Much less expensive vs. Oligio and so far, very very happy. Working with a new colorist who doesnt yet understand ash/silver :)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Blondes never looked better. This purple shampoo took the warm/orangey tone out of my blonde in one five minute use. Smells like blueberries!! Only con is it can stain your hands purple/blue and your hair if you don’t rinse it out thoroughly. Totally love this shampoo. Pics show before and after of first use, and single pic of me shows how light my hair actually looked after second use.
