Gibraltar 7716 bongo stand
I was going to buy a Mehl stand but took a chance on this less expensive Gibraltar stand instead. Only the price is less expensive. The construction quality is top notch heavy duty and comfortable in either sit down or stand up playing positions. Very steady and sturdy. Only drawback: one adjustment needs a standard drum key (they don't tell or show you in the instructions on the web site). They should have included one. My eBay seller, drumcenternh offered a better than average price with free FedEx ground. I'm happy.

Lightweight and solid.
Bongo is a difficult drum to mount securely. This Gibraltar stand gets it done perfectly. Surprisingly, it is also very light.
