this item was made in china shows much weakness. it was rated at 200 pounds but the spring completely compresses at 90 pounds. my gate is around 195 pounds so it would barley roll open and the tire wont last long. this item is for a light weight gate.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value needs Instructions
The product looks good and the price is right. Figuring out how to use it presents a problem because there was no information with the item as to installation and spring strength for the initial setting. My driveway is not level and while I can adjust for the slope I am unsure of the spring travel on the wheel. Fighting a 200 pounds gate and not knowing what the wheel will do makes for a tough installation.
