    A good light but could be more customer useful.

    the night lite is very nice but it cannot be directed any direction than directly across from the wall outlet. The light is very bright when used as a flashlight and the style is just right for most homes.

    Well worth getting

    We have 4 more of these that are older and have worked for well over 10 years now. This one is even stronger and brighter then the same ones we already have. It is expensive but it should last a long time and are very functional as a night light and a Flashlight and first lighting when the power goes out. I cannot think of having anything else but this type of lighting around the house.

    Is as advertised

    Is as advertised This flashlight and nightlight in one unit does what I was look for. I find it much more convenient having a separate charging base over having the wall plug built in the flashlight. The nightlight is a little on the bright side however the unit swivels 360 degrees in its charging base so if you find it too bright just turn the LEDs to face the wall.

    My others lasted for 3 years, and I like the features, so I bought another

    I already own 2 of these, and purchased this for a family member. So far, the 2 that I currently own have worked fine for around 3 years now. The flashlight feature is great - I always have a charged torch nearby, and never need to be bothered with changing batteries. I also like the night light feature, especially that the light can be placed in the holder so that the light can be directed in any direction, not just straight ahead, as some similar products. I place the unit so that stairway landings are illuminated, even though the outlet is somewhat off to the side of the landing. Overall, I've been pleased with this purchase.
