It was either fix my TV or buy a new one • This worked perfect!
I didn't install this power board when I received it, because my existing one was still working – sort of. I would click to turn it on and it would take about 10 to 15 minutes before the TV came on. Today it wouldn't turn on at all, so I went ahead and installed this new power board. It's the first time I've done this sort of thing, but it worked right after I put it in. First I removed the stand and then the back panel of the TV. Lots and lots of screws! Once it was removed, it took another five screws and three plugs to remove the power board. This took only a minute or so to accomplish. I replaced the old one with the new one, put everything back together — crossed my fingers — and voila! My TV worked perfectly. In case you're wondering, there was originally a clicking sound coming from the back of my TV set. I noted the sound coming from where the plug was connected to the TV. I searched the internet for my TV model and determined what I needed to buy. Everything worked out perfectly.
