Works well for closing the gap
I was working a flock of birds down here in Florida several weeks ago and had come to my wits end with the hens pulling the gobblers away from me twice already. It was getting late in the morning and I was running out of options to get into shooting range. I popped this out and crawled around the palmettos and watched 2 gobblers turn and head my way once they saw it. They got 30 yards and I popped to the side and took out the biggest one.
