The Mitchell MM100 features a short-scale, double-cutaway basswood body and a maple neck with smooth fretboard. It comes complete with two high-output ceramic humbucker pickups that crank out enough juice for a guitar twice its size. High-ratio tuners allow for precise tuning control, while the traditional, adjustable TOM-style bridge provides solid intonation. Plus, the MM100’s string-through body design gives it plenty of sustain and bite. All Mitchell electric guitars receive a complete stateside setup and quality control inspection to ensure exceptional playability. Available in Walnut Satin (WS), Black (BK) and Blood Red (BR).

Lightweight and small with full big guitar features.
As with any guitar, a setup is usually if not always needed, this guitar is no exception. It needed a setup for optimum play-ability. That being said, it did not need a lot of fret filing or sanding. The pickups are as strong as any except maybe top of the line which cost 3 times the cost of this guitar. It feels good, plays well and is perfect for youngsters or those with small to average sized hands. I bought this for my wife to learn on and now I want one. It is perfect for learning songs without stretching to find notes. Oh, and it has 24 frets, more than most full sized guitars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect, comfortable, size to play comfortably! it sounds great. it's got a better sound than my full size electric guitar. I also loved the price 80 bucks roughly. i can afford that. it was a great Christmas present to myself!
