Handy base for calipers
A good and handy base for your caliper to get a quick depth reading on small jobs. The base does what would be expected of the depth stem on a digital or dial caliper. I myself found the base works best on a digital caliper and not so well on my dial caliper. The mfg. is here in the U S A. Big plus and the price is good. Easy Depth Gage
Precision made by iGage. Fits several brands of calipers I have. This is a fast way to measure depth up to the length of your caliper. Buy an iGage caliper and leave it set up all the time. For the money, great!
It's not a Mitutoyo, but the Mitutoyo version cost 4 times as much. It fits my Mitutoyo Digimatics fine. I used some 600 grit and cleaned up a few sharp edges. Well worth the money. Versatile applications & clamps securely/squarely
It is a little rough when u get it & I had to file off some light burrs including on the tip of the set screw which is important to make clamping on the calipers reasonably secure & it did clamp securely. It fit my Nesco 12” as well as my MTI 8” & various cheap Chinese 6” calipers. It appears to clamp squarely.
