Product works as advertised probably a little more heat than other similar tank top heayers ive owned the only issue a few weeks in is that the colder it gets outside the harder the valve is to open. Avenger Tank Top Propane Heater " Single "
Opon installing on a new Blue Rhino tank, Turned on gas valve and selected low heat then pressed the red ignite button for 30 seconds then lit with a gas torch , it fired right up and stayed lit untill i touched a wire for the cutoff valve. Tried for an hour to re-light with no prevail . wiggling the wires proved a hit n miss start and stop, they had good connection so it seems to be the unit is too sensitive to vibrations . being a DIY type i clamped and superglued the red igniter button closed . Works great now every time and for safety sake i don't suggest anyone do this . I know how to turn off the gas when not in use as a spare heat source maybe once a year . It releases good heat and can run for days on a tank i would think , Mine was just Very Sensitive to any movement , moving the unit would cut off the fuel which is why it has a safety cutoff valve.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Huge disappointment
Bought this to take to camp for heat..bought a brand new full tank. Checked new tank on my gas grill before taking to camp. Unboxed heating element..installed on Tank..does not work..Tried 3 more times..did not work.Cold winter camping trip in really remote area.TOTAL JUNK.

I this price this is a Good product.
The product is good but the problem is its way of ignition. You have to ignite it with a match or lighter and there is risk of getting hurt. If it is fitted with a pilot lamp or auto ignition system, this will become a wonder full product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well
I needed this heater in a garage that dosent have a fast way to heat for short projects..... Main heat in garage is a wood stove. Wood stove takes a little while to heat up so this is a great quick heat source of heat right where you need it. Working on the car outside have the heater near by to warm your hands.
