Locked my self out
I installed the lock according to directions onto my 1 3/4 inch door. I then went out side and locked the door and discovered that I was locked out of the house. I investigated and found that the tail piece of the outside lock cylinder was too long. After filing it and making it shorter, it worked properly. In looking at the chart in the directions, it looks like the "B" break point on the tail piece should make it 1 375" from the back of the cylinder plug. Mine was 1.43". After filing it to 1.375 it worked properly.
