I purchased a two pack of these. The mouse ate the bait and did not trip the trap. I got these because I liked the ease of operation over the wooden traps. Which I would just dispose of rather than reuse. Even though I've had to fiddle with the wood traps sometimes to make the trigger mechanisms for the kill bar more sensitive, it's not as straightforward to modify the triggering mechanisms on these. Which brings me to it seemingly having more moving parts to malfunction. I really wanted to love these traps for their ease of use, reusability and non porous surface that can be sanitized, unlike the wooden ones that absorb blood and pathogens from the vermin they kill. The wooden ones are far more effective, in my opinion. As I only purchased two, and they're both duds. I'm just not up to spend more money on these traps that seem to lack consistency In how they're manufactured, that cost significantly more than the tried and true wooden ones, that I have little grief in chucking once it's done its job. Traps work well, unless mice are very big. Had multiple instances of mice not being completely killed by traps.
