Saves Time and Shaver Looks Better Sitting Upright
The nice thing about the Philips Norelco AT810 4000 Series shaver is that when it is finished charging it goes to 0 (zero) watts [I used my P3 P4400 Kill A Watt energy monitor to test this]; The charger will start around 5 watts and slowly come down in wattage until it is fully charged and then go to 0 (zero) watts [saving energy]. This stand is nice because it saves time because I do not have to plug/unplug the charging cable; I just lightly set the shaver on the stand and it instantly starts charging. I think it looks nicer having the shaver upright instead of laying on its side on the sink counter.
