It does it's job, and keeps me laughing at the same time.
Essentially, it's a specialized alarm clock that has four alarms per day. They're either all turned on or all turned off. If you only want (i.e.) three alarms per day, you have to set the extra alarm to be the same time as the next alarm. (And that's not in the instruction book either.)
Even when you hit the "Acknowledge" button, it still keeps squawking for some time before it turns off.
It drives my roommate nuts, but it really does remind me to take my pills.
I had a little trouble getting it programmed, but once it was done, it has worked fine. I am dreading when the batteries die as it will default to previous times. Am hoping it doesn’t do so while I am out of town as my husband will have no idea how to reset it. I had thought it also had an electric plug, which would have negated the previous possible problem.
Mom takes a lot of pills throughout the day. We tried making our own pill packs which worked for awhile. This one is a lot more organized & easier for mom to use. Tho being new the little tops are still hard to open but overall we love it! The clock is loud enough for hard of hearing folks, & doesn’t stop notifying you it’s time until you hit the button. Now it won’t take the pills for you, but it is a great reminder! First saw in a catalog for a lot more. So I found the clock on EBay a whole lot cheaper! And the actual pill holder on Amazon. I saved $45.00 total for both items!
