NEED A GUN
Great force multiplier when used with an occasional shot from a BB gun, paint ball marker or shot gun but will not work on its own! Birds are just too smart. Each gun shot will give you about 4 to 6 hours bird free with the BirdX running. Without the Birdx each shot gives you about 20 to 30 minutes bird free. I bought this as a "not working, for parts only" item. I was very pleased that it functions exactly as it is supposed to. However, it does not effectively keep birds away from my carport. Our Bird-x-Peller came and we put it up pretty easy. We have been having problems with Starlings getting into our pavilion and building nests and messing all over. Since we have put it up we have noticed no nesting birds. We still notice them in the yard but not under our pavilion. There is only one down side to it and that's the noise it makes. Works on Gulls
