My Favorite Ukulele
I now have three ukuleles. First two are acoustic/electric Tenor size. Don't get me wrong, I love them. Heck, I've even named them! But I had tried a Concert size Kala Travel ukulele in my favorite music store and loved the volume and projection, as well as the light weight and gig bag. I found one here on ebay for less than in the store so I picked it up. It's now my favorite ukulele! I pick it up to practice several times a day. It's got what I would consider good balance and it's just plain FUN. It comes with a nice padded gig bag, too, made for the thinner travel uke and embroidered with the Kala logo. If something happens to this I would definitely buy another one. I played an entire wall of Kala, Gretsch, Lanikai ukes and this was the best sound for the price. Stays in tune, too.
