Quality Filter
I had been using a replacement filter for several years and my wife had recently been complaining about the amount of dust in the house. Seems that shortly after dusting, the house would show dust again. We decided to get the AprilAire filter since it is the original filter made for the furnace. The product has been installed for a month now and seems to be doing a better job of filtering the air. This filter is $6.00 more than the replacement filter(2 pack) but if it filters the air better, it will be worth it. I've been installing my filters for years since the HVAC installed price is double what I pay for the filter online. Was told when the furnace was installed that the filter needs changing only once a year. However, although i check the filter frequently, I change the filter every six months and seems to be an appropriate time frame. The installation is easy once it is done a few times. With patience, getting the first support bar in place, the rest of the bars go in easily. So far, am satisfied with the filter and its results.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
