Cheap but lacking features
Expected fan speed PWM to vary according to temperature. Instead, the thermal control only steps the fan from low to high speed after crossing the configured temperature threshold which cant be set below 35C. Not great for my application of maintaining an IC at a specific temperature under various power levels.

Great adjustable PWM fan temperature controller
I needed to control speed of server grade fan - it has huge wattage (3A) - and you simply cannot draw so much power directly from typical motherboard fan header. This controller is exactly what I needed, now this powerful fan is following temperature changes very well. I love that controller has adjustment for temperature ranges and speaker alarm is great added bonus.
